Car Fire Breaks Out At I-684/Saw Mill Junction

Smoke was sent billowing through the air when a car became fully engulfed in flames on I-684 on Thursday morning. First responders were dispatched at approximately 11 a.m. to I-684, at the Saw Mill River Parkway juncture near exit 43 in Katonah, where there was a multi-vehicle crash that left one car in flames near the guardrail of the southbound lanes.

Funeral Services Set For Michael Whalen Of South Salem, 48

Funeral services have been scheduled for Local Union #3 Business Representative Michael Whalen who died at age 48 after a long illness and surrounded by his family. There will be a mass of Christian burial on Saturday, May 19 at St. Mary's Church in Katonah at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah.
