A Taiko drummer demonstration will be among the many Samurai-themed activities at the Katonah Museum of Artis Samurai Day on Sunday, October 19, 2014, in Katonah, N.Y. In recent times, the ways of the samurai have been used to help people with modern-day problems, such as becoming a better salesperson, staying fit and dealing with life's challenges. Guided by a code known as Bushido, or "Way of the Warrior," this ancient Japanese warrior class was expected to live a life of courage, discipline and service during the late 12th century to about the mid-1800s.
