The owner of a consignment business in Katonah was charged with failing to pay his personal New York State taxes for three years on Wednesday, according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore. Barry Shevit, 66, allegedly failed to pay $28,862 in personal income tax to New York State between 2011 and 2013, the district attorney said.
