Shannon Wong, director of the New York Civil Liberties Union's Lower Hudson Valley Chapter, criticized County Executive Rob Astorino over the remarks he made following a pre-Christmas Mass hosted by Archbishop Cardinal Timothy Dolan at the Westchester County Jail last week, claiming that Astorino's remarks and very participation in the Mass went too far in endorsing one religion. Amid the investigation into the death of Katonah's David Cuse, Bedford Police announced that they are seeking witnesses and security camera footage of the area near his home.
