Katonah resident John Scofield, a jazz guitarist, won a Grammy Award on Monday for Best Jazz Instrumental Album, reported Yorktown-Somers Patch. He was born in Ohio and raised in Connecticut, taking up the guitar at age 11. Inspirations include rock and blues players.
